- Chrysler returned the 300 model line in 1999. After long period of time Chrysler decided to continue with the 300 series, they name it 300M because the last “Letter” model produced was wearing the
“L” letter and that was back in 1965. There is one major difference between the 1955-1965 Chrysler 300 and the 300M before all cars were coupes or convertible the new 300 introduced in 1999 was available only as sedan. - Engines Available
