Customer Reviews
- a good primer but insufficient detail
- Avg. Customer Rating: 3 Stars
- There's not enough detail for the home mechanic to do the job. As a resource book, it's value lies somehere between the home and the garage. Many of the elctronic schematics were of very poor reproduction quality - could have been cleaned up rather than just photocopied. Very little data or diagrams on interior problems and structures (an area which most home mechanics might try to do). I doubt the home mechanic would try rebuilding a transmission or transfer case. But certainly might try some less daunting tasks. Overpriced for it's intended readership.
