poor information about book: Avg. Customer Rating: 2 Stars; Be aware, this book was printed in 1994. So, the "Present" is 1994. Meaning 5.0 engines only. No good for my 97 cobra. The book seemed to have good info for 5.0s though. Lots of black and white pics.

Good overall review, racing focus: Avg. Customer Rating: 4 Stars; The reason this book is not five stars is that I'm building my car for street use and the author tends to focus on motorsports. So while some subjective remarks like "the stock rollers are garbage" may be very true in a road racing application they may not be true for a high performance street application. Regardless there are still some real gems and if you follow the recomendationas you will build a bulletproof, if not cheap, powertrain.
